Inspirations- Models of today!

So this is my first inspirations post! So the title is pretty self-explanatory, although inspiration is everywhere and anywhere we look..... the theme today is models! Models have been icons for years because well they're tall gorgeous and get to walk down runways in amazing designer clothes, be the faces of big ads, date rappers and basketball players, and take part in the occasional scandals...... which made many people notice them and made many of them bona-fide celebrities. And when they're celebrites, pictures of them walking down the street and walking the red carpet, and posing in ads end up in magazines, and tons of people read magazines (like me), then you see there pictures, and you can't help but be INSPIRED by them. Although today I will be doing my favorite more recent models, so Twiggy will have to wait. Anyway I'm inspired by these models because well they make everything they wear look good, and not because they're gorgeous and tall, but because of the attitude they have when they wear clothes, the sureness they have when they wear clothes. You could call it cockyness, but i think you have to have that certain amount of cockyness to pull off any outfit. Like anything they put on ends up looking great at all times. So here is the order of the pictures Karlie Kloss, Liu Wen, Agyness Deyn, Chanel Iman, Sasha Pivovarova, Gracie Carvalho, Ali Michaels, and Dree Hemingway. Look for today!

So here is were some of my backround comes in. I am half Indonesian and Chinese... so today me and my family went to the Indonesian Festival in L.A. It was fun but really hot and crowded. But I did get to take a few pics of some of the things I saw most of which were very traditional... okay so stilletos and palm trees aren't very traditional, but they do fit into the whole L.A. vibe, and i just took pictures of stuff i liked, and for the stilletos i just thought it was ridiculous how she wore them to a fair and didn't drop dead. For the cowboy boots, I'm not really a cowboy boots girl, but these were exceptional. So I hope you enjoy! (the dress is Forever21, the charm bracelet is Lucky Brand, the necklace is Anchor Blue, the leather cuff is from the O.C Fair, the necklace and ring are Tiffany and Co., the big ring is Forever21, the purse is vintage Coach, the glasses are from somewhere i don't remember, and same with the shoes.)
